AMTROL was founded in 1946 on the simple concepts of innovation, quality and service. In 1954, we revolutionized the hydronic industry when we introduced EXTROL®, the world’s first pre-pressurized diaphragm expansion tank. This was followed in 1963 with the invention of the first pre-pressurized well tank and in 1967 with the invention of the refrigerant gas cylinder. AMTROL went on to invent the indirect fired water heater in 1980 and the thermal expansion tank in 1991. Throughout our history, AMTROL has been the world leader in the design and operation of the vital mechanical systems that are used to control hydronic heating and to store potable water.

Simmons Manufacturing Company was founded in 1957 in historic McDonough, Georgia. Located just 10 miles off I-75, we are thirty miles south of Atlanta.
Simmons offers lead-free water well supplies, including foot valves, check valves, frost-proof hydrants, well seals, well points, well caps, pitless adapters, tank tees, pressure switches, pressure gauges, torque arrestors, splicing kits, insert fittings and air volume controls.

Our roots extend to 1937 when Roy Richards, a recent graduate of Georgia Tech, started a company to erect power poles. On March 23, 1950, Richards founded Southwire with three used machines and a workforce of 12 employees. The Jobe name is familiar to farmers throughout New Zealand and the world. We specialise in the design and manufacture of innovative float operated valves and related equipment. Our valves are trusted and used in many light industrial applications such as agricultural troughs, evaporative cooling systems and high pressure cleaning equipment.
Although we are a New Zealand company, the majority of our production is proudly exported through distributors in Australia, North America, and the United Kingdom. Our valves are also present throughout Europe, South America, Africa and Asia.
